Located some 5 miles Southeast of Ashbourne the Osmaston polo fields were part of the
historic Osmaston Manor unfortunately demolished in 1964 although the old smoke tower
still stands. A superb opportunity to visit the nearby shops in Ashbourne or Derby City
Centre. A little closer to the site there are some excellent walks through the park around the
lakes and through the woodlands. Take a stroll and don’t forget to drop in at the Shoulder of
Mutton Pub offering hot food and drinks.
